walshy Posted January 21, 2020 Posted January 21, 2020 (edited) So, just surfing through and came to this beauty. Worth a bid 🤪 starting at £9k https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.co.uk%2Fulk%2Fitm%2F233471083775 Edited January 21, 2020 by walshy 1 Quote
Beedster Posted January 21, 2020 Posted January 21, 2020 Just another of life's dreamers/chancers. When that type of bass - which is rather nice and probably worth £1500 - turns up in that context I tend to be a little suspicious......... 2 Quote

SurroundedByManatees Posted January 21, 2020 Posted January 21, 2020 Those are great playing and sounding Fenders. Build quality is better than an average late 70s Fender ime. They tend to be equally heavy (5kg+) though. Value should be around £1500 indeed. Id love to own one again at some point, preferably a lighter one if they exist. 1 Quote

Dan Dare Posted January 22, 2020 Posted January 22, 2020 (edited) More likely an ignoramus and certainly not a player. He obviously thinks Fenders are all called Jazz Basses. There was another idiot on eBay suffering from a similar delusion a while back. He was attempting to sell what he described as a "Jazz Precision", which was a bitsa with a butchered headstock - 3 tuners on one side and one on the other. Edited January 22, 2020 by Dan Dare Quote
gareth Posted January 24, 2020 Posted January 24, 2020 I offered him £8250 which he accepted and I asked him to do a BIN at that price but he never got back to me Quote
