odysseus
I've been reading about how artificial intelligence has been used to create music. Thought I'd set up a thread for any discoveries you might have found that were created by AI. I've listened to a few bits and pieces - quite impressive, though this is new to me... Plus... if anyone's got any thoughts on AI music generally... where it might be headed? What it might imply for human composers etc?... songofthewind
Check out Brian Eno’s iOS music generation apps. I love Bloom HD, and I have Scape, which is very different.
Quatschmacher
Band in a box (which is over 15 years old) had modules which would comp or solo in the style of various players and it was very authentic. It was only let down by the poor MIDI sounds on my machine at the time but would sound great with the great physical modelling stuff available nowadays. Newfoundfreedom
I've heard plenty of music compiled by NI (no intelligence) No Limits by 2 Unlimited being the first track that springs to mind.
