rubis Posted January 22, 2020 Posted January 22, 2020 Just spent 10 minutes watching this, about my favourite drummer. Some quite nice things said about him by his old mate Bernie Marsden. Worth a watch, it always struck me how he could swing, but still be Cozy Powell, a talented man. 5 Quote

Lozz196 Posted January 22, 2020 Posted January 22, 2020 Awesome, been getting into Rainbow recently and Cozy Powell’s drums were great. 1 Quote
TheMaartian Posted January 23, 2020 Posted January 23, 2020 Cozy was amazing. One of my favorite live shows of all time was Todd Rundgren and Utopia touring Adventures In Utopia in 1980. First row balcony at the Chicago Auditorium. Perfect acoustics. Perfect sight lines. The first set featured the band playing normal instruments. The intermission featured a video set to Bolero, with each band member coming out individually and playing some odd instrument along with the video (Todd played a sax). The second set featured each member playing custom gear. Cozy's motorcycle drum kit was awesome. I can't find a pic of it online. If anybody has one, I'd love to see it! 1 Quote
vantagepointrocks Posted January 24, 2020 Posted January 24, 2020 (edited) A clear legend, I mean, how many other drummers made it on to Record Breakers? Edited January 24, 2020 by vantagepointrocks 2 Quote
