Owen
I bought a batch of these years ago. Really useful to carry coiled leads. I need more. I cannot for the lofe of me remember what they are called or where I got them. Yes, I have googled. Can anyone help?
Owen
That was not a trick question. I have now found them. They are Handy Handles. And it looks as if they are not sold anymore. So I guess my next question is, what else is out there?
Silvia Bluejay
Well, of all the nice things we saw at NAMM and would happily have taken home, this was the one we decided we absolutely could not leave without. It's called CableWrangler and we bought two. They apparently have a UK distributor, probably wholesale, though. That's @Happy Jack on the right with the owners of the company. Silvia Bluejay
I've looked up the company on the usual online selling sites. They have a US Ebay store where delivery to the UK doubles the price (Not A Good Thing), and they used to have an Amazon.co.uk store but it's no longer functioning and the product appears as unavailable. Their distributor appears to be near Milton Keynes, and they're the ones we'll contact for info if/when we need more units for our cables. Silvia Bluejay
You'll probably need a strong coathanger hold them, together with the coiled cables.
Paul S
Would one of these work? https://www.completecareshop.co.uk/household-aids/general-aids/shopping-bag-holder-grip-view-large

Elasticated ball loops are quite an eye opener too.
stewblack
Right so, these are two for 6 quid the bungee ball loops are 25 for 9 quid or 20 for 7 quid. Although like @Stub Mandrel my first thought was either a coat hanger or ten minutes on a jigsaw..
Happy Jack
You'll never get it done in 10 minutes. Takes longer than that to find all the edge pieces ...

Silvia Bluejay
These are our own Cable Wranglers in use in our music room. We'll chuck them both in a dedicated bag when it's time to take them to gigs. Edited January 27, 2020 by Silvia Bluejay

stewblack
OK folks, prepare to be amazed. Prototype model 001. Can be hung from any suitable vantage point in the venue with the handy hook feature. Makes pack down and set up simple, also checking that all cabling is present and correct is a cinch. This has done one whole rehearsal without disintegrating, which for one of my hacks represents quite astonishing longevity. Note space for a possible third row of hangers. Also note total absence of either gaffer tape or cable ties. 1
Happy Jack
If memory serves, those hangers are held together with a couple of 1/2" pins. I wouldn't stand under that, if I was you ...
