Trace_n_bass Posted January 31, 2009 Posted January 31, 2009 (edited) Hi All! I've got for sale here my Status S1 Classic 5-string, in a rather fetching green! It's all in excellent condition, with only two very minor marks on the back. It has the full graphite neck, and comes with the Status branded Hiscox case. I'm looking for £650. Cheers, Stu. OutToPlayJazz Posted January 31, 2009 Posted January 31, 2009 That's a nice example. Best of luck with the sale! Rich.
Golchen Posted January 31, 2009 Posted January 31, 2009 bump for a great bass. I was going to bid on one exactly like this on eBay a few years ago - and I miscalculated the finish time and missed it! If I didn't have my S2 classic I would grab it myself.
Trace_n_bass Posted January 31, 2009 Author Posted January 31, 2009 Yep trades are considered. I'm really after a Streamer Stage II, and could offer cash as well. Failing that let me know what you'd like to trade and I'll have a look. It'd need to be a 5-string though. Cheers, Stu.

RayFW Posted February 3, 2009 Posted February 3, 2009 A couple of questions: What's the string spacing? What electronics does it have? How much does it weigh? Cheers.
biro Posted February 7, 2009 Posted February 7, 2009 PM'd. @RayFW: as far as I know, it should have a 18mm string spacing at the bridge. This bass looks pretty similar (shape-and-electronics-wise) to the Status Energy I used to own. If the electronics are similar as well, this bass should feature a couple of Hyperactive active humbuckers and a volume-balance-tone electronics layout. I loved the elctronics on my energy, and loved its slightly mid-scooped modern bite. didn't like the wooden neck, though. didn't like it at all.
fretmeister Posted February 7, 2009 Posted February 7, 2009 damn my lack of cash. You can never have enough Statii
Trace_n_bass Posted February 12, 2009 Author Posted February 12, 2009 Sold pending the usual. Many thanks to all (particularly biro)!
