Arrived today, a Players Series P bass that I bought to modify. I love my precision but being as it is the same colour as my Jazz, I thought a good old fashioned black & maple would be a good bet. Early indications are that it is light, well balanced & easy to play. The same can't be said of the cat!

Difficult to beat black/maple, congrats Tim, the Player Precisions are great basses.

It's going to have a cream pickup cover with either a black scratchplate or my black / cream paisley scratchplate. I've read a lot about the Player series on here... it needs a setup but I'm optimistic it'll be killer.

I now need to find an aged white bass with maple board and dark brown tort p/g to achieve the same effect. :(

I can help with aged white/maple Precision - will be putting a US one up for sale on here soon - can’t help with the tort tho, only have a deep red one.
