It says the serial no, date of manufacture, American walnut (falings?) mahogany core, and a fish signature. The fingerboard is definitely rosewood though. This is now fixed : it's rosewood, which is the official fingerboard wood for fretted Wal's. That and the double crossed checking made by Martin at the Bass Gallery confirm it was originally fretted.
