TC Electronic Blacksmith or Genz Benz Shuttle 9.0

I have a serious desire to upgrade my TC BH500.

I am using a combination of TC BC210, BC212 and BC410 cabs depending on gig.

I have read people rave about the Genz Benz Shuttles but not so much about the TC Blacksmith. What are the opinions of the wise heads at Basschat?

Not sure anyone has said anything negative about Blacksmiths. I believe most people who have had one think they are epic. The question is though, do you need that much power? They are also on the larger side size wise. 
 

personally I’d have one in a flash just to say I owned a squillion watt amp!

The size is a good point and I must admit I prefer the look of the Benz but as you say, the power of the TC!

I had a blacksmith, it lasted 3 months before I got rid of it for an SVT 2 Pro. 

Everything about it was just meh. Yes it was loud. But not in the right areas, no weight to the sound and just felt flat. I just couldn't get on with it at all and the pre amp just felt boring.

Although the Genz Benz Shuttles are no longer made they are fully supported by member @agedhorse How that support works in Europe he'll have to say.

It's pretty expensive to support them myself in Europe, but there are a few qualified and authorized shops in the UK that I work with  that have a nice track record.
