Power supply questions!

Hi bass chatters! Just bought a Harley Benton junior power supply for my pedalboard. It only has 9v outputs but comes with a Y cable. I have a wireless unit that takes 12v, I’m assuming I can’t use the Y cable to power it because 9+9 is obviously 18? Is that how it works?! Please help!!

Depends if it’s a voltage doubler or a current doubler cable

Looks like each outlet gives a current of 120mA.

If you have a pedal that needs more than 120mA but less than 240mA then that is it’s use

Whichever Y cable it is, neither doubling the current nor doubling the voltage will help you.  Return the power supply to Thomann and get a different one which has a 12v output.
