Close, but no cigar..... wrong band. Broken Wings was by Mr Mister - singing bassist was the fantastic Richard Page.

Peter Cetera was never in Mr Mister, he was a solo artist after some 20+ years singing/playing bass in Chicago.

Guess I knew even less about Peter than I thought 🙂

Wow!! Absolutely WOW!!

:swoon:

So many great Bass guitarist/lead singers mentioned here!!!

I'm truly impressed and thoroughly enlightened.  :sun_bespectacled:

I'm gonna chuck an obscure one in the mix...

No, it's not “The missing link"...

Does have his own signature model “Frickenbacker" though... (& a rather tasty looking one, if I might be so risqué in saying...)

Being the eclectic bunch of beautiful BC'ers that you are, I'm sure a few of you members might recognise the rare “beast" before you... (Particular those who ask “... but is it good for Metal...")

;)

I saw this band live in 2008. No guitar, just 2 bass playes and drums. They were f*cking brilliant. Think yer guy was playing a fake ric or rockinbetter, something along those lines.

This track is awesome, as thon yank would be inclined to say:
