stubarura Posted February 5, 2009 Share Posted February 5, 2009 (edited) for me it would be a no-brainer, mex all the way, in my experience with fenders is the mex are as good a quality build as the usa basses, infact they are made from the same woods, only on some models the hardware is cheaper but on others its exactly the same gear, the squiers ive come accross looked, played and sounded cheap... if a mex is set up properly there is no better fender, including the usa builds...
