Just to dispel the myth of tight Yorkshire folk and to continue the tradition of raising money for charitable causes the Yorkshire Bass Bash are offering 2 superb items from their Prize Draw Raffle across all of Basschat for those who cannot/will not attend the Bash on Sunday 15th February.

The items are a s/h Fretless Epiphone Gibson EB1 with gig bag, strap and stand

A brand new Ashdown Freebass Wireless kit (optimised for bass frequencies)

A £5.00 donation at: http://www.justgiving.com/yorkshirebassbash will buy you one ticket into the Prize Draw which will be held live at the Bass Bash. We obviously hope you will donate more than £5.00 and buy more than 1 ticket!
Tickets from both pre-sales and on the day will be combined for the 1st and 2nd Prize Draws.

We will only accept donations on http://www.justgiving.com/yorkshirebassbash up to 12.00 pm on Saturday 14th February for the Prize Draw, anything after that will not be eligible for the Prize Draw unless bought on the day at the Bash (but will still be appreciated).

Gift Aid is added to your donation so the Charity "Live Music Now" also receive a nice windfall from your money. Gift Aid is however not eligible to be claimed for Prize Draws or Raffles........

Visit Live Music Now on http://www.livemusicnow.org.uk/ to find out more about our nominated charity!

The winning ticket holders will be responsible for all shipping costs.

Results of the Prize Draw Raffle will be posted on this site.

I'd rather not do Paypal due to their fees but anyone without a debit or credit card for Just Giving could send me a cheque providing it will clear before the Prize Draw date of February 15th 2009.

If you say yes to the question "Are you donating in return for a ticket to an event/raffle/auction?" then Gift Aid doesn't apply, according to the site ;)

Yeah, don't tick the box to say its for a raffle ...I did but didn't realise it would stop the gift aid. ;)

Oh, and by the way. The organisers of this raffle & Bash are independent of the draw itself, so we want the fun of going in for it too!

Surprised there have not been more tickets bought so far: given we have sold 10 tickets and around 30 people are coming to the Bass Bash the odds of winning one of these top items are pretty damn good whether you are attending in person or just buying on-line....?

I wish you wouldn't keep bumping this. At this rate, there's more prizes than tickets sold ...and I've got TWO!
