Thinking of pulling the trigger on the above....i like the idea of the graphite reinforced neck, 34 inch scale, 9.5 radius

are they really as good as folk say??

They’re universally well-thought of I believe, I wouldn’t exclusively base your decision on one thread on the internet lol

Haven't touched the generation 2 models but the first gen was fantastic value for money. A better neck finish and various other improvements at the same price and you're laughing. Really good reliable, solid gigging instrument I think.

I played a 4 string in Andertons on Saturday and it was a lovely bass. It felt great and sounded good too, that preamp is a nice addition and isn't too complex to get your head around.

The only reason I didn't pull the trigger is Anderson's customer service is a joke

Am loving my 5str - still getting used to wide-ish string spacing but overall amazing for price. Cheers to  @whynot from this forum.

That good!!!.....think i will give that one a swerve

I wouldn't hesitate mate. Ive owned some high end jazzers. They are killer basses. The preamp alone is worth that high end Jazz bass tone.

Ive had a Gen 1 since they come out. Lovely bass. other than weight i cant fault it. I got a Gen 2 P7 last year and thought it was noticeably better. The neck was a bit improvement IMO. Very comfortable. Unfortunately it had a faulty bridge pup so it went back. Wouldn't hesitate to get another if i didnt have other options.
