adamg67
I'm after a very small pedal board, I was looking at the Pedaltrain Nano: https://pedaltrain.com/products/pt-nano-sc under £40 including soft case. Then I saw this: http://w.bassdirect.co.uk/bass_guitar_specialists/Mono_Pedalboards.html - the Lite is the same size, £140 with bag? And it's heavier than the pedlatrain one? Am I missing something? CliveT
I like Mono gear, I use one of their gig bags but I thought their pedalboard was expensive too so went with the Pedaltrain Nano. I like the look of the Tick bag you can attach to the gig bag but the Nano bag can hook on to the gig bag too.
jezzaboy
I have just bought the Nano model you mention and it`s a nice bit of kit. It`s 2 metal rails with velcro on it. I don`t see how spending an extra £100 would make something so simple any better?
burno70
I can't see why you would opt for a mono over a pedaltrain at that price point. I may be missing something too.

Trueno
I've just got a Pedaltrain Nano (plus soft case). It is small but perfect for me (an EBS Microbass II and Boss pedal tuner, with a simple power supply). Looks and feels bomb-proof to me. dannybuoy
I'm surprised they are heavier than the pedaltrain, looks like a lot less metal there? Looks like it was inspired by the £10 laptop stand from IKEA!

I'm only comparing the Pedaltrain Nano with the Mono Lite Pedaltrain 0.3kg: https://pedaltrain.com/products/pt-nano-sc Mono 0.46 kg http://w.bassdirect.co.uk/bass_guitar_specialists/Mono_Pedalboards.html (in the table part way down) I know they're both really light, but it'd be easy to go for the mono assuming it's the lightest you can get when it doesn't seem it is. HazBeen
I know nothing about the difference in quality, what I will say is that my M80 single and double bags have been serving me for YEARS. I felt they were really expensive when I bought them, now I consider them a sensible investment that will be with me for years and years. Maybe that is the case here as well? Dunno.
