thedontcarebear
Anyone got one? What are they like? Is the neck jazz like? And where abouts are they made?
Guest MoJo
I have a BB1500A, the active version. At the nut, the neck is somewhere between a Precision and a Jazz. It has quite a deep section giving it quite a chunky but not uncomfortable feel. It is a real tone monster and has turned many a head at a gig as soon as I've struck up. If I had the chance to buy another, I would in a heartbeat. Made in Taiwan Edited February 4, 2009 by bassman2790
thedontcarebear
Cheers for the info, how much do you think one is worth?
GreeneKing
Yep I've got one that absolutely mint - same colour. Growls like a good un, great jazz tone from the bridge pup Peter
thedontcarebear
I ordered a natural one, should be here early next week I'd say, if I don't get on with it, it could be up on here by the end of the week, haha.
Guest MoJo
Check out what others say here on Harmony Central . If you're looking for an active jazz type bass, this is the one

thedontcarebear
My one of these is at home apparantly, which is pretty lucky as they sent it to the billing address instead of the delivery address, my housemate just happened to be home ill though to sign for it. thedontcarebear
It's pretty cool sounding, not bad to play either considering the action is very high at the moment, just need to give it a bit of a setup. Good condition too, only buckle rash on the back, and most of it is too minor to even feel when you touch it.
GreeneKing
Brilliant! No photos - no bass
thedontcarebear
No batteries for my camera, and my housemate is occupied so can't borrow his, this is from my phone!
GreeneKing
Nice one! I've just put mine away. I've had 9 basses of mine in my front room this evening, Homers 2 and Russ's loverly Overwater. Lots of bass

thedontcarebear
Set mine up with lighter strings now, and is playing nice, would be cool to try it at a practice to see what its like, but my band hasn't had one for about a month!
