New Reverend Mike Watt Model

Never been that interested in Reverend basses, I appreciate their designs are something different which is always good.

This looks intriguing though - a short scale with 1 and a half P pickups, never seen that arrangement before. Shame it only comes in green....

How heavy is it? It looks like a boat anchor to me.

I like it and would love to try one but would expect neck dive given the short upper horn.

Mike has back problems so it's designed to be fairly light - low 7lbs range.

Strap button is on the back of the neck like his old EBs so the playing position is more upright than a Fender, but the tuners are Hipshot Ultralights to keep the neck from diving anyway

Lol, the 1st fret in lay is a red herring.

I think it looks great; colour, shape, everything. I bet it's tough as old boots.
