BassApprentice Posted February 13, 2020 Posted February 13, 2020 Never been that interested in Reverend basses, I appreciate their designs are something different which is always good. This looks intriguing though - a short scale with 1 and a half P pickups, never seen that arrangement before. Shame it only comes in green.... https://www.notreble.com/buzz/2020/02/12/reverend-guitars-announces-mike-watt-wattplower-mark-ii-bass/ 1 Quote
naxos10 Posted February 13, 2020 Posted February 13, 2020 I like the colour and the scale size - nice. Quote
wateroftyne Posted February 13, 2020 Posted February 13, 2020 How heavy is it? It looks like a boat anchor to me. 1 Quote
burno70 Posted February 13, 2020 Posted February 13, 2020 I like it and would love to try one but would expect neck dive given the short upper horn. Quote

Mike has back problems so it's designed to be fairly light - low 7lbs range. 5 minutes ago, burno70 said: I like it and would love to try one but would expect neck dive given the short upper horn. Strap button is on the back of the neck like his old EBs so the playing position is more upright than a Fender, but the tuners are Hipshot Ultralights to keep the neck from diving anyway . 1 Quote
Taylor Bitch-blues Posted February 13, 2020 Posted February 13, 2020 All interesting 'cept for the colour, maybe more choice later ? Quote
