It's another reason we don't have a fixed setlist: our BL will call songs as we go, depending on the audience and the evening, not unlike a good DJ...he's very good at it. I know a DJ booking service that has a 'must play' 'this is what we like' and 'don't play even if the bride's mother requests it' section of their booking form.
Stub Mandrel
We played 'I'll be there' the other day. To be fair, it's a really good bit of songwriting with some creative changes.

I'm playing 'I am the one and only' with the one and only Chesney Hawkes later this month! Serious question. Is a Chesney Hawkes tribute band able to sing "I am the one and only" or would that cause the universe to implode?
Muzz
I think 'He is the one and only' could only improve the tribute experience...
ead
We have what we refer to as the "Cheese Board" in our second set. This generally gets a pretty good response from the audience, the principle elements being: Living Next Door To Alice / Shangalang / Delilah (SAHB version) / Dakota That having been said, I think what we might see as classic rock other may may consider to be cheesey commestibles. I should say that the song itself is a tricky little bugger that's really cleverly written, nick Kershaw i believe, so many key changes. And chesney himself was super pro and very nice to work with.
