wateroftyne Posted February 18, 2020 Posted February 18, 2020 Hi everyone A couple of interesting old Fenders turned up at today's rehearsal. #1: A 1963 Jazz, all original apart from a refret. This was used to record the ceilidh set on Mark Knopfler's Local Hero OST, and used in the performance in the film. #2: A 1972-ish Musicmaster, formerly owned by Lindisfarne's Alan Hull. Both wonderful to play. It was nice to spend a bit of time with them. 8 Quote

Happy Jack Posted February 18, 2020 Posted February 18, 2020 I know musicians rarely have much money, but couldn't they afford new ones? Quote

markdavid Posted February 22, 2020 Posted February 22, 2020 (edited) I had a music master many years ago that I no longer own, am kicking myself now that they are going for the prices they currently are, seen them on eBay for 800-900 , mine was tbh not very good would never have seen those prices coming Sorry, not too rain on anyone's parade, mine was probably a Monday morning special Edited February 22, 2020 by markdavid Quote
