Beedster Posted February 19, 2020 Share Posted February 19, 2020 (edited) Lovely 26 year old bass, suffering from the woes that afflict all the Fotoflame models in the end, that is the Foto finish is splitting. It is however a lovely bass, typical of the early 90s MIJs. I’ve been using the neck on my ‘68 Jazz and was going to strip and refin the body (I did the same on a Fotoflame about 10 years back and the finish comes off very easily). However, I’m now selling the ‘68 and even though it’s a bit cracked, the finish on this bass still looks amazing, so seems best to leave it, or at least let the new owner decide.
