Prosebass
Whilst waiting for the finish to dry on the Gazzumper I decided to put another Precision together. Edited March 3, 2009 by Prosebass

Tait
that looks cool already, and the yellow wash looks even better. just as a matter of interest, how much do your builds cost?

Al Heeley
Looking good sir - like the meaty roller bridge, where do you go to buy schallers? Battery change - will you have to take the whole 'guard off to get at the battery or are you going to cut a separate access door in the rear for it? I am a big fan of Schaller gear , good German engineering. As regards the battery the plate will have to come off ! , the Artec unit I am using will last 2 -3000 hours so hardly a weekly occurrence and I am not a fan of a lump of black plastic in the middle of a nice piece of wood ! The plate will be able to be removed without the strings coming off so not a big deal and I may install a power LED on the plate. But I may change my mind on that ! I like my builds to develop as I go along..
Al Heeley
Nice touch - the recessed and angled barrel jack socket. that's intelligent building. Looks like you shielded the cavities with gold leaf!

I'll get me anorak.....
