6stringbassist
I've not had this too long, I bought it from a fellow basschatter. It's in excellent condition, comes with a gigbag, and the previous owner had the pickup upgraded to a Seymour Duncan, the original Fender pickup is included. I'm primarily a 6 string player, but I bought this to go with my jazz bass for gigs where a 6 string singlecut isn't appropriate. I've found that I really prefer the jazz bass, and I'm missing all of those lovely low notes from the B string, so I'm going to get either a 5 string jazz bass or a 5 string Stingray. It's currently wearing a new set of LaBella medium flats, for that classic Precision bass sound. I'm asking £450 for it plus shipping, or personal collection is welcome. Trades welcome for a Musicman Stingray 5 string bass, Stingray 4 string bass in Sunburst or Epifani 3x10 cab. I don't think it's a humbucker, I think it's this one http://www.seymourduncan.com/products/bass...cpb1_vintage_f/ The truss rod is adjustable at the body end, but you don't need to take off the neck, there's a route cut in the body like on Stingrays etc, you'd have to take off the scratchplate, or I supppose you could cut something similar in the scratchplate easy enough. To be really honest, I've had the bass for about a month now, and I've not had to make any adjustments, I'm ultra picky about string height, I like my action really low.
