I just got a set imported from across the pond and theyre a really good set of strings, they fit my MM sterling perfectly and produce that hard-hitting sound i wanted with the mellowness a stingray could never achieve.

i was told they were overpriced, and not worth the money, but id say they were worth every penny i spent (£16.78 to be exact).

does anyone else use them? what kind of bass do you like to fit them to?

I use them on my Fleabass and really like them; not too bright and harsh, which works well with graphite neck - keeps things sounding 'warm'. Nice and cheap too!

Got them on my Shuker. Had the same set on for about 14 months now and I reckon they're just coming into their own. I am looking to try something else but that's just out of experimentation.

I've used GHS Boomers in the recent past and they are good strings but if you're importing from the States then I'd suggest trying DR Sunbeams. They are approx £2 more (inc shipping) than you are paying for the GHS Boomers, worth considering!

Why import them from America? Just get them over here!

I have used them for a few years now, awesome strings, by far my favourite! Used to be under a tenner from thomann, but the exchange rate put an end to that, a bunch of places sell them here though.

Not had issues with them sounding dead, I never get sweaty hands etc though, so don't really have any issues ever with strings sounding dead quick.
