Okay imagine you are abandoned on a desert island (with wireless broadband obviously and an electricity supply to keep your computer up and running) what are the five basstastic tracks that turned you onto the instrument in the first place. I know this sort of thing has been done to death but with Spotify at least we can actually listen to, and maybe discover, new stuff without breaking the bank and copyright laws. A starter for 5; Talk Talk - It's My Life The Smiths - This Night Has Opened My Eyes Rush - YYZ Stevie Wonder - I Was Made To Love Her Rush - all of the first side of Hemispheres Rush and The Smiths are poles apart but are without doubt my main influences.
