tuss Posted August 8, 2007 Posted August 8, 2007 (edited) Considering letting the ole vette go. Had the bass sometime, but rarely use it since buying a Spector Euro 5 string. Comes with warwick gigbag, truss rod tool and finishing wax. In pretty good condition, but a slight ding on the underside of the neck, but not particularly noticeable. charic Posted August 14, 2007 Posted August 14, 2007 What year? Any ideas on what the bodies made of?
tuss Posted August 14, 2007 Author Posted August 14, 2007 Pretty sure it was made in 2000, but not sure what wood the body is. Will try and find out for you.
charic Posted August 14, 2007 Posted August 14, 2007 Oh rite, how does the sound vary with ash as apposed to bubinga?
tuss Posted August 15, 2007 Author Posted August 15, 2007 Yes indeed
I think this is provisionally mine
Acoustically, Ash has wonderful mid-frequency response and a very warm low end. In my experience, I prefer Corvettes in ash, mainly because the Corvette body is quite large and bubinga is a really heavy wood.
tuss Posted August 26, 2008 Author Posted August 26, 2008 Never did get round to selling this. £300 anyone
