Wiring a wah wah

Hello,
keen to revisit Cliff Burton's wah-tastic bass solos I have dug out my ancient, Italian-made Crybaby wah pedal.
Only trouble is, two wires are flapping about unconnected and I've no idea where they should be connected. And I know nothing about pedals and how they're put together.
I was hoping someone here might have a working wah wah pedal that they could take a picture of the insides of, and post them here. Then perhaps I could try and guess where the wires go.
I'd really appreciate it,
thanks,
Matthew
