Getting a decent sound?

When I export (share) as a wav (or mp3) in GB it does lose a lot of top end. The mixes on myspace was finished off in Audacity, I only used GB to fix mistakes & line up tracks so they all started at the same time & then exported each individually (which seemed to keep the clarity there) as a wav & put them all into Audacity & balanced them off in there before mixing down in Audacity.

Needs more BLAAARG, and less wibble... if you catch my meaning. ;)

I likes your songs, composition and performance. What are you trying to achieve with these recordings? If this is a promo, would you be better served making a simple live recording, in a room with good acoustics with minimal mic'age... just left and right?
