MananaMan Posted February 14, 2009 Posted February 14, 2009 In that case I wouldn't worry about the quality of the tracks in the application. No mp3 imports there - at least as far as I can tell... Quote
xgsjx Posted February 14, 2009 Author Posted February 14, 2009 When I export (share) as a wav (or mp3) in GB it does lose a lot of top end. The mixes on myspace was finished off in Audacity, I only used GB to fix mistakes & line up tracks so they all started at the same time & then exported each individually (which seemed to keep the clarity there) as a wav & put them all into Audacity & balanced them off in there before mixing down in Audacity. Shambo Posted February 15, 2009 Posted February 15, 2009 Needs more BLAAARG, and less wibble... if you catch my meaning. I likes your songs, composition and performance. What are you trying to achieve with these recordings? If this is a promo, would you be better served making a simple live recording, in a room with good acoustics with minimal mic'age... just left and right? *runs away* Quote
xgsjx Posted February 15, 2009 Author Posted February 15, 2009 The main purpose of the recordings is to get gigs. So far I've had nothing back, but I have only tried the Perth area. Quote
Seb_C Posted February 20, 2009 Posted February 20, 2009 I'd quite like to give this a mix in Logic if you do get the files up. Quote
xgsjx Posted February 21, 2009 Author Posted February 21, 2009 Haven't had a chance to get em up but I'll try & make a bit of time tomorrow if I can & will post here as soon as done with details of where they are. Quote
