RogerS
Sorry if this has been asked before but I can't find the topic here. Does anyone know of a 4 saddle bridge that is an easy swap out for the bronco?
Jean-Luc Pickguard
The one fitted to the squier vista series musicmaster is the only 4 saddle bridge I know of with the correct shape however it is a string-thru bridge so holes through the body & ferrules would be needed. For an easy swap-out a standard BBoT (Jazz/Precision style) would work, but the string spacing might be a bit wider than is ideal. I would probably go for something like a badass or one of its clones where the string spacing can be customised.
hooky_lowdown
You'll need to measure the distance between the string space at the bridge. Full size bass are 19mm, but a short scale will be smaller (probably around 16 or 17mm). Then you'll need to find a 4 saddle bridge with string spacing of that size. ikay
The Hipshot Vintage bridge (18mm spacing version) is a good replacement. You'll need to drill new mounting holes but it's pretty straightforward to install. Pic of it installed on my Bronco below. https://hipshotproducts.com/products/4-string-vintage-bass-bridge?variant=35112332296
RogerS
Thanks, guys. Ikay, I like the look of that pickup. What is it?
ikay
It's a Sentell 'Big Sis' pickup, a 4-pole replacement for a Musicmaster bass. They also do a 'Lil Sis' with smaller diameter magnets. See pics below. Website is here - https://sentellpickups.net/bass.html. Scroll about halfway down for the Musicmaster pickups.

hooky_lowdown
If you do a Google search for "Squier bronco mods" you find lots of info, threads and pics of modifications other people have done with their bronco's.

Maude
If anyone is upgrading their standard Bronco bridge I'd be interested in buying their old standard one. I need a 17mm bridge for a project and having trouble finding one. Thanks 🙂
