Born 2B Mild Posted February 8, 2009 Posted February 8, 2009 I've just bought a second-hand six string bass guitar. As you can see from this photo, the tuners are a mix 'n match job. I asked Tony at Axesrus to identify and recommend a replacement set (gold), but he said he hasn't got owt like them. Can anyone else suggest a source (preferably UK)? As well as keeping in tune, I'd rather they didn't lose their colour easily too! Quote

Delberthot Posted February 14, 2009 Posted February 14, 2009 That many you had to post it twice They just look like Gotoh GB7 tuners. Even non Gotoh ones are referred to as GB7 size and there's loads places sell them Quote
Dan_Nailed Posted February 14, 2009 Posted February 14, 2009 (edited) If you want unbranded/cheap ones I'd gor for the ones of Bass Guitar Parts Direct. If you want branded as in Schaller or Hipshot (either of which are good) then they've got those in stock too but they're not the cheapest options. There's actually 4 chrome Gotoh GB7's on US ebay for £12.70 right now, if you can find gold ones for around that price, go for them! Edited February 14, 2009 by Dan_Nailed Quote
