DoubleOhStephan
Looks fantastic value at £500, £700 still feels cheap. I've a 4 string in exactly this spec, best bass I've ever owned https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/324085225707 If it wasn't 5 string, I'd have it etc 😁

edstraker123
Agreed - the bullet I picked up for £400 is up there with the best basses I've owned. I'd have this one in a heartbeat if it was nearer (and I wasn't on strike )
ricksterphil
Cracking basses Sandberg's, I've had a couple I've just bought a Yammy fiver off of @Skinnymanor I'd have been all over this
Dan Dare
That's the starting bid, not a buy it now, price. I'd expect it to be bid up considerably. We see quite a few "Bargain on eBay" threads for starting bid prices. They never sell for that in the end.
Mudpup
Even at the full money that's a pretty good price including an ok amp
Happy Jack
Looks like a Classic model? I'm assuming it's the 34" scale rather than the (much rarer) 35", and I guess it's bloody heavy. What do these normally sell for? The info is not as easily available on line as I'd have expected.
DoubleOhStephan
Yeah, it's a Sandberg Classic Special. I guess 34", my 4 is, and it weighs a bit less than you'd think. Its feels like it has a very narrow body, though that may be just really good routing. Probably Delanos and 3 band eq. Hands down, the best bass I've ever played. Don't really know how much they go for. £500 feels very cheap for a top end sandberg. Theres a new one at the Bass Lounge atm very similar spec for £2k. Even at £700, it still feels like a bit of bargain.
