Roger2611
Hi all, I have just picked up a Status Energy Matrix bass in a decent used condition for a fair price, as always seems to be the case with the plain wood finish on the body it does show quite a lot of wear above the pick ups, would it be sacrilege and destroy any resale value if I have the top veneered with a cherry / burred walnut / quilted maple finish? I would get it done by a qualified person as, although not overly complicated a job, I am sure my DIY skills would not come up to scratch! What do you think? Bigwan
Having seen what our resident veneering expert can do I'd go for it!

Skybone
It's your bass, do what you want. If it's done well, should look great.
