Dr.Dave Posted February 9, 2009 Posted February 9, 2009 We were doing the Clone Blues fest a couple of years back and buggered off for a pint to get out of the way - certain the guitar player we saw was Lee Wharton , having watched that vid. He was very , very good - as were the rest of the 4 piece band. Not sure if Norman Helm was the bass player though , think not. Quote
KennysFord Posted February 9, 2009 Author Posted February 9, 2009 Hey Al,no worries.I was looking out foryou but guessed on Sunday that you might of had bigger fish to fry Dr Dave,Lee Wharton,yeah,he's a good un alright.I think "Funky Norm" as he's known locally has joined his band fairly recently. He's a sh*t hot bassist,one of the best i've seen. I used to go and watch him play back in the early eighties,he was good then too...bastard. Quote
