I'm very intrigued as to what the extra knob does! piezo volume?

Front to back .

1st - master volume

2nd - piezo PU/magnet PU blend

Then - Treble , Mid , Bass , as per normal .

So the extra knob (which could be the bloke playing it) , is a pan , rather than a second volume .

Yes the tone is more stingray ish! How do you find the series/single modes?

Never use series or single mode, only parallel because to my ears it sounds the best.

Just a heads up - there's a bargain red USA Sterling on Faceache at the moment at £825. Not mine by the way and i'm not affiliated with the seller.

Really nice bass by the looks of it. Love the white perloid PG with that red, much better than the bog standard black PG.

very comfortable to play

black on black is cool to me.

sounds similar to my ray classic, but less extreme eq actually making it more manageable. Had the classic awhile now and struggle at home to tame the eq. Probably should play it more in the band context. Also, my right forearm sticks to the slab body on the classic . Anyone else find that?
