Paul S
Damnation! Yesterday morning I had no particular interest other than curiosity, today it's like an itch I can't scratch! Anyone got an 8lb Gibson Thunderbird they want to sell? 😍
Paul S
So.... I had a quick look on eBay and there were a couple in my price range. One of them just 5 miles up the road. When asked the weight, he came back with 3.5kg. You can probably guess the rest 😂 Edited March 3, 2020 by Paul S 1

So neck dive for me. Don't quite know why Gibson took 50yrs to work that one out, but there you have it. Where is it positioned now? My new beau is a 2011 with the button at the back of the heel and, although no neck dive, the body does roll forward - be nice to correct that if possible. Had the briefest of noodles - it needs a proper set up, new strings etc - but it plays beautifully and sounds fantastic. Happy chap
Muzz
Just run the strap across the front of the rear wing...forward roll cured... 😉

Happy chap One quick fix for the body leaning forward is to just tuck the wing behind the strap as it leaves the bridge side button. It's never been a biggie for me though and I've never really noticed it whilst playing. Oh, and pics!!! Ah, Muzz beat me to it Edited March 4, 2020 by Jonesy
