Bazzlecat
Hi folks, I acquired this bass a long time ago on a whim that I needed a 5 string back when I had zero maturity on what I was buying and a 100% impulse for shiny... Can anyone help me out with an indication on what model jackson I may have bought? I got this unhelpful reply when I reached out to Jackson Guitars: "Unfortunately this serial number did not bring anything up in our serial database. It is likely that it was manufactured prior to 2002, which is when Fender acquired Jackson/Charvel. Records prior to this time are limited." Note I didn't actually provide a serial number! any help appreciated! Cheers
AndyTravis
It’s a concert bass, Jackson C5AMM rings a bell. I had the C5P - bloody brilliant bass.

Bazzlecat
Thanks for the quick response Andy - appreciate it! If anyone has any thoughts on a valuation that would be welcome too (I'm happy to move this post elsewhere if I'm not doing this right!) AndyTravis
In all honesty...expect nothing near what it’s worth. C5p eventually got £130. I’d suggest about £150-£200.
Grahambythesea
Very un- Jackson like, no pointy headstock. Body shape is rather Tobias like, looks like it would hang nicely with those long horns.

grenadillabama
I have a white Jackson 5. It hangs well and stays in tune. The sound was too bland for me and I went passive . I put a Quarterpounder Jazz on and one volume. Your red bass looks nice.
