I have somewhat unwillingly decided to sell this head. I have arthritis which is not getting any better and much as I DO love this head - and I really do - it's just getting too much for me to move.

You all know what this head does, full specs are here -

This one comes in a 6U Shockmount Flightcase, and if the price is right I'll throw in a Behringer Tuner which has fancy downlights to make the head look pretty.

It is in very good condition, and comes with an almost full set of valves ( except the one that failed ) and was revalved within the last 18 months or so.

Priced to go at £950 ovno

Interested in a Sun 1200s with full flight case and DTR1000 at all?

It was mine, before that it was yours, and before that it was someone else from basschat, and before that someone else, I think - so a few of us yes!

It's in great nick, works a dream, has been carefully looked after, don't want anyone to get the wrong idea here.

Sorry only looking for cash.....I need something light, and have something in mind.

I used to own this amp and sold it to Kiwi. It's a superb amp, bump for Stu. This is the one amp I should've held on to. If I had the readies I would buy it back in a flash. Someone's gonna get a monster bargain here.

Electroharmonix valves - one failed on me before I decided to start it with a fresh set of Harma valves (which have been known to last 10 years plus!)

THE mesa 400+ is TRULY a magnificent head, and if this is a good one, worth every penny IMO. This is the sort of amp you need when you are older and can afford it, bit like buying a Truimph Bonneville. Wish I'd never sold mine (the mesa that is ), but sadly the weight of that output transformer exceeded the tolerance of my back too. The valves in mine lasted forever.
