Dan Dare
Are you intending to buy new? Having several smaller cabs that you can use singly or in multiples depending on the requirements of the job is much easier - several journeys to and from the car with manageable loads rather than struggling with one enormous one. Having said that, I'm ancient and do live in a first and second floor flat. You may have ground level access (although gigs can present you with stairs) and be younger and fitter. In your shoes and given that you appear to like 10s, I'd go for two 2x10s. A couple of BF 210s would do the job nicely. They do vintage well (which it appears you like from your choice of head). Other makes are available of course. Edited March 10, 2020 by Dan Dare
Lozz196
Good call, a couple of 210s a lot more manageable than a single 410 (for the more mature of us, shall we say, I’m sure the younglings shoulder press 410s, one in each hand).

Chimike
I run an old 70's Ampeg V4 cab ( sealed , the smaller , probably guitar, one )) with my valve Amps. Modern speakers in it, though. Not as heavy, or unwieldy as a 6 X 10, and the sound is worth it. mike. Edited March 11, 2020 by Chimike
Bankai
Louder than a 410HLF, better sounding than a 410HLF.. You’re already lugging enough weight with the SVT, you don’t need a cab that adds to those woes! Consider either the BF210 or 410 Edited March 11, 2020 by Bankai
donslow
Thanks for the input guys and gals, just scored myself a SVT 410HLF for an absolute steal, well chuffed!!
BassmanPaul
The HLF tends to be somewhat dark as it goes really low. I hope it suits your needs.
skychaserhigh
If it doesn't work out you could try an Ampeg SVT 212AV. It's a really great 4ohm 600 watt cab.
