No all the parts for this build are secondhand from a fellow basschatter. I bought the body from chopthebass (Ian) before he emigrated to Canada , he is a very good bass builder so I hope I do it justice.

At present the body is 6lb 1 oz but will be lighter when the cavity is done and the neck pocket needs a bit off.

so I would say

Body 5lb 6oz finished
Neck 2lb 3oz
Other bits 2lb 7oz

Total approx 10lb 2oz in old money and in answer to the other bit "yes"
