I've messaged them when potentially shipping basses and they were very reassuring that their insurance covers them and the quotes never came out too expensive. 

Never followed through with those sales so haven't actually used them but appreciated the responsiveness

I just tried to get a quote to see what the insurance was. A standard bass shape and weight UK delivery was £17.62 before insurance, and without putting all details in I couldn't get the insurance price. Not a good start...

I’ve just booked them to take a guitar,

I will update once they have delivered.

 

their website clearly states they specialise in musical instrument cover but they do say a hard case is needed in their guidelines for packaging.

I forgot to update!

all went well, guitar was safely collected and delivered in a timely fashion.

 

cant update regarding insurance cover as it arrived safely.
