bassfan Posted March 14, 2020 Posted March 14, 2020 (edited) Finally after 18 months of talking about it. Itās here. Arrived this morning and Iām very pleased.Ā Ā Quick play with the Status. Paired with the CN212 and it sounds awesome. Intuitive to use and very small! I have a gig tonight and itās coming along!Ā Ā Edited March 14, 2020 by bassfan 9 Quote
Al Krow Posted March 14, 2020 Posted March 14, 2020 Congratulations! You've gone fully Berg (well nearly,Ā just need a Sandberg bassš) Can't wait to hear it in action and also to getĀ your thoughts on whether your Mesa M6 could now be relegated to back-up amp... It does look great!Ā 1 Quote

Al Krow Posted March 14, 2020 Posted March 14, 2020 (edited) I can tell that you've done a good thing getting into @walshy's supply chain! I think I'm going to have to follow in your footsteps at some point soon! Out of interest, Walshy what's succeeded the BAmp in your own line up? Edited March 14, 2020 by Al Krow 1 Quote

bassfan Posted March 15, 2020 Author Posted March 15, 2020 Itās a keeper. I love it. Itās very different to my Mesa m6 but in a good way. Obviously not as Fat sounding with no valves but itās very versatile. Band loved it. Complimented for cutting through the mix by a guy watching us from another band. Itās tiny and powerful. Whatās not to like.Ā mill get to grips with all the features soon enough! ššš» 2 Quote

Dood Posted March 15, 2020 Posted March 15, 2020 I'll see what I can cook up for you later! The settings will be for my own bass which is far removed from passive pickups, but I might grab my P bass over and create something too if I have time Ā I love this amp. @Bergantino Audio knocked it out ofĀ the park withĀ the original version but the amount of software updates you canĀ loadĀ on since are just superb. IĀ also love that if you do an update and don't like it, you can just revert back toĀ the previous version you did like withoutĀ interrupting progress! - That said, I am yet to do that as every update has been a very positive one. 4 Quote
afterimage Posted March 15, 2020 Posted March 15, 2020 I have one too as Dood says the firmware updates are excellentĀ Very intuitive controlsĀ Ā a certain Walter Becker had one theseĀ Play around with all the settingsĀ lots to enjoyĀ Quote
