Ou7shined
Actually I think you'll find it's a "stainless steel retainer plate". Have you seen his toggle and shoelace "Quick Fit Headstock Connector"? Because I don't know about you but passing an acoustic guitar's strap over my head to put it on just isn't quick enough. Jean-Luc Pickguard
Those look really crap. At screwfix you can get ten sets of straplocks for a quid, but they're sold as rubber shower hose washers, don't require a screwdriver to fit & look much better than those steel ones or red Grolschies. Also they don't cause the strap buttons to come unscrewed sending your bass southbound like schallers.
Happy Jack
Oi! Grolschies are THE business. Shower hose washers? Pah!
Mr. Foxen
Anyone stupid enough to buy those doesn't deserve money.

Hamster
I've PM'd him with a few questions about whether his straplocks could be used as a temporary measure to fix my garden gate to the wall with coachbolts

bassaussie
I like that the name can be spelled "BasicLok" or "BasikLok" - at least according to his ad!! He's gonna have to make a call on that when he patents this great invention!

JDM
The "Hand crafted glass wine bottle guitar slide" gets my vote. It's amazing what can be done with an empty wine bottle, an angle grinder and a diamond tipped cutting wheel.
