Aren't they rather short scale..? The tuners are at the back, I suppose. Quote
Chris2112 Posted March 18, 2020 Posted March 18, 2020 Probably a fretless bass, taking the time to get really good above the 12th position. Quote

neepheid Posted March 18, 2020 Posted March 18, 2020 Epiphone Jack Casady. Don't even need an amp if you're in a quiet place and CBA plugging it in 2 Quote
stewblack Posted March 18, 2020 Posted March 18, 2020 I can't choose. I'm going to use this period of isolation to play them all! Whichever ones get least use will hit the marketplace when the plague has passed. Quote
Dan Dare Posted March 18, 2020 Posted March 18, 2020 The one(s) you already have. Not much chance to get to the shops to buy another... Quote
CameronJ Posted March 18, 2020 Posted March 18, 2020 (edited) Dingwall Super PJ5. Although, I bought a new (used) Super P4 a week ago, before my tour got cancelled. That purchase has not aged well Edited March 18, 2020 by CameronJ Quote
Dr.Dave Posted March 19, 2020 Posted March 19, 2020 (edited) I took the time to put round wounds on my 54 reish P instead of flats and I've been noodling about with it in the conservatory through my new vox practise amp - bought for no other reason than it fits on the windowsill. The pound shop rotty sits on the table in front of me fascinated until I lapse into playing hotel California , at which point it scratches it's starfish and sods off. verb Posted March 19, 2020 Posted March 19, 2020 If my boss closes the shop I will be playing my usual Warwick Corvette. I haven't played much since breaking my right hand last November so I will be taking it easy. I've also bought a router to fit EMG Thunderbird pickups so I might do that first. Quote
uk_lefty Posted March 19, 2020 Posted March 19, 2020 Anything at all! This isolation means that my kids make even more mess and need even more entertaining and looking after. My work has gone in to overdrive, mostly running around going "what do we do about this?!?!?!" so my free time to play bass has been even more limited than usual. Quote

But the real plague carriers are the valve amps ... dodgy characters with a dubious past, and they smell funny too. Like guitarists .... 1 Quote
Geek99 Posted March 19, 2020 Posted March 19, 2020 I’m allowed to WFH but I really miss my three large screens, a laptop doesn’t cut it Quote
