Raptorhands Posted March 17, 2020 Posted March 17, 2020 Hope someone can help with my problem. Just bought a second hand Epiphone Thunderbird. My own fault for not checking the controls properly but when both volumes are turned all the way down I still have volume through my amp. I am a beginner with very little knowledge and am not the brightest bunny in the woods. Any help I would be most grateful. Thanks Quote
gary mac Posted March 17, 2020 Posted March 17, 2020 Most Epiphones that I get to work on, are usually decent instruments but nearly always let down by poor electronics. My recommendation would be to install new pots, wiring, socket and capacitor and enjoy a much better sounding and a very much more reliable instrumen 1 Quote
