It really is constructed to the highest standards and uses some beautiful woods. The finger board is AAA Ebony. It has a mahogany hollow body design finished with an incredible piece of Olive. It's wonderful to play and really sings. It has an Aquilar pickup with wooden cover fitted and a piezo in the bridge. I've used it for some looping projects tuned E-C. Access to the upper notes means that this bass is great for chordal playing. Strung conventionally B-G it sounds amazing with a really beefy low B. The string spacing makes rapid scalic patterns a breeze to play. The bass is really quite unique and a joy to play.
