I’m fairly sure me posting a load of Fender Precisions & Jazzes isn’t the idea of this thread, but to me they are the most beautiful instruments ever made (though some colour schemes pass me by).

And I even have the original 1991 hard case that came with it...

It's a good thing that Ibanez brought it back with the current version--except without the drop tuner.

Yep, but the originals have something appealing and especially two fretless models : this A104F and the A105F.

This one is number 62 and is in pristine condition. It will never leave me.

Jens Ritter has that kool looking white fretless.

There is a green Alembic Essence in Reverb that looked nice and compact.

The best Jazz ever has been a seafoam green (?) Pensa-Suhr.

A dark brown unlined fretless Wal, was really fab.

Atlansia may be a bit 80's, but different altogether.

Steinberger, why not, industrial type.

I like Overwater Original / C.

Affirma is looking good.

Oh so many basses, so little time.

A well loved 1960 P Bass would be top of my list, as a thing of beauty, to have owned from new to reliced,

@hiram.k.hackenbacker knows all about this other beauty which is even more stunning in the flesh.

I think that this pickuard upgrade, made by the previous owner to my Eastman sidejack Vi lifts it into one of the most beautiful basses around catogory. It also has a pickup upgrade and sounds wickedly good.

This is a great thread, beauty will clearly be in the eye of the beholder but so what :D

Just checking, but is posting a bass you own/have owned crass?

Stunning craftsmanship, and yes, dowes look nice, until someone plugged the lead in. Spoils it completely IMO.

For people like me with limited intellect can posters please say what the bass is too?

I bought the most beautiful bass in the world in 1969. My Fender Precision.

It doesn't look quite so pristine these days. It went through a period of modding in the 80's, with MEC and Seymour Duncan pickups and ended up with Bartolini and a Bart pre amp. Made it a much better bass, at the expense of its vintage credentials. If I ever go back to 4 string basses this has a killer sound. . . . . . . . . . . . .

What's wrong with her legs?

Photoshop. Thyme was stretched them out with image manipulation software and removed what they consider to be ‘imperfections’. Sad.
