That's what my initial reaction was. My mate is the current high bidder (he's absolutely useless with ebay) and bid on them without getting specs or a second opinion. I've emailed the seller on his behalf to get the bid withdrawn with no response so far...

F'sure they ain't 'new' matamp products - there was a similar cab design in the 70's that eschewed the 'beveled' edge look we know today.

Whether they're gen or not, they look pretty poor quality. Retro is one thing, junk-shop is another. This is the sort of item that needs a good, careful examination under a bright light before handing over the readies.
