agroupuk Posted February 15, 2009 Posted February 15, 2009 Hey all. This isn't really a review I just thought I would put a few thoughts down in case anyone wanted one of these or similar. http://www.log-jam.co.uk/ Its basically a pickup in a wood surround that you 'tap' with your foot. You plug it into an amp and turn the bass up and mid/high down. I do acoustic nights with my acoustic bass (usually plugged in) and this thing rocks for helping fill the mix with some noise. Lets face it drums are large! It makes different tones depending on what type of surface its used on/footwear used and where on the block you tap it. If anyone's after a portable bass drum then I highly recommend it - plus its pretty damn cheap. Anyhoo - that was it really - pointless post but it might be of use to someone. Cheerio! Edd Quote

dannybuoy Posted February 16, 2009 Posted February 16, 2009 Now that's what I call a stomp box! I wonder if I could get a similar effect by just stomping on a microphone though with the same EQ settings? Quote
