douglas81 Posted July 8, 2008 Author Posted July 8, 2008
Its worth way more than £1500 really!!
Yes, I wouldn't be selling it for such a low price, but I need the money, and I thought this would prompt a quick sale. So, anyone...? Make me an offer...
cheddatom Posted July 8, 2008 Posted July 8, 2008 F*ck me! Swap for a Citroen Xara Estate HDI 2002 70K miles (I think)? yes i'm serious.
douglas81 Posted July 14, 2008 Author Posted July 14, 2008 Well, this will be the last week the bass is available - then it's off to e-bay. Someone, make me an offer please!
cheddatom Posted July 16, 2008 Posted July 16, 2008 I did make you a serious offer, but having forgotten about it I have already agreed to sell the car for cash, and to use that to pay my dad back some loans. I would have loved the bass, but i'll probably enjoy being out of so much debt as well.
douglas81 Posted September 1, 2008 Author Posted September 1, 2008 Okay, well... it's up on e-bay. Starting price £650: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Overwater-Progress-I...id=p3286.c0.m14

I seem to remember Laurence mentioning he was thinking of having a place where people could list their second hand Overwaters, but nothing ever transpired. I'll maybe get in touch with them again and let them know it's listed on e-bay... hopefully they could pass the word around a bit. I'm kind of gutted it's come to listing it on e-bay, but such is life

overwater#1 Posted September 11, 2008 Posted September 11, 2008 I really wish I could... I hope it goes for more!!!!
NickThomas Posted September 11, 2008 Posted September 11, 2008 That price is heartbreaking . Sign of the times I suppose! :-(

Sign of the times I suppose! :-(
Yes, I'm really sad it has to go for such a low price. I'm only selling it because I need the money. It just seems such a pointlessly meagre amount. It's definitely a buyer's market at the moment, that's for sure. Edited September 11, 2008 by douglas81
sshorepunk Posted September 12, 2008 Posted September 12, 2008 I watched this last night, willing it to go over 4 figures for ya, good price for such a fine bass. £800-£900 seems to be the ball park for some serious high end used gear at the moment, I know from my recent Sei purchase T

Metallicat V3.0 Posted September 12, 2008 Posted September 12, 2008 I feel for ya man. That's a stunning instrument, I hope atleast it gets to £1k or its a travesty.
cheddatom Posted September 12, 2008 Posted September 12, 2008 I reckon you would have sold my car for £1100! Never mind. I will buy one of these beauties one day!
