Cue lots of p bass photos.....

All matter of opinion I guess, I like my 70s style bitsa:

@Cuzzie is a better bass builder than I am a photographer!

Not everyone's cup of tea, but I saw one of these in the flesh at PMT and was blown away by it, usually I like blues/blacks/ white basses, so this took me by surprise....0DFAEA1D-9AEB-41FA-A2B0-3D4E5D2FC4C4.thumb.jpeg.0e3bcb66a206506cbe169061663a0906.jpeg

@sykilz @Old Horse Murphy

looks like I have a poor man’s worn version of your loves....

Not at all, IMO all P basses look pretty cool because the design is just right to my eyes. My favourite P bass I had was a plain black with black pickguard and a dark rosewood board, nothing special, but it just worked ( visually ) for me.

Doesn't look right to me without dot inlays. What pickups are in that bad boy?

Ah yes, it is a bit out of the norm. The neck has a lovely textured look up close though. I've put a '59 custom shop pup in it.  Rolled the fretboard edges too, lovely to play.

Roasted maple fretboard on a walnut neck - it’s very very nice.

@foxyFuze nice choice, that bad boy used to have GZR’s in!

Sandberg California II Riedel Signature. I did just buy it so I am slightly biased ;)

Black headstock. Metallic black hardware. Black everything. Except the pickguard, that's clear perspex.
