Munurmunuh
Don't think the G&L 3+2 has been shown yet, much nicer than the 4+1 on the JB5 Edited December 31, 2020 by Ricky Rioli 1

It's an NS NXT5 upright, and it looks like this. (The look is a bit compromised by the not too elegant tripod. They also sell a normal endpin as a separate accessory.)

That’s great - I would love that headstock on a non EUB - would be a sleek machine

TheGreek
I really like the ForteVio EUB - some may remember the designer Valentin Hristov brought one to The Herts Bash. Edited December 31, 2020 by TheGreek

Steinberger bass guitars do without a headstock altogether...
Cuzzie
Cheers chaps and chapess - good looking machines them - the NS is my fave with the bevelled curved to it

Lfalex v1.1
Yup. Liking the NS headstock. Seen here on my NS CR5. So no bias at all!
Jean-Luc Pickguard
I really like the shape of the headstock on my Guild Starfire bass. The thunderbird headstock is also one of my favourites, but the extra long version on my Epi vintage pro with added Gotoh GB640 tuners makes it look even better.
Monkey Steve
I quite like the Warwick headstocks- functional and a little understated, rather than “look at me, look at me” like a lot of them on this thread

meterman
I always liked the wonky old Burns / Baldwin Vibraslim headstock design. I bet I’m in a minority of one here though. Great sounding basses as well.

4000
Never ceases to amaze me how much people’s tastes differ. 99% of the headstocks posted here would be in my worst ever. 😂

You should see what I did to the active electronics 🤯 Many many many years later the neck is still in exactly place. I might have had a foolish streak a mile wide, but at least I instinctively recognised decent quality.

Some new strings (wound on the right way) would be a kindness 🙂

Probably the neck pickup too. I had no idea what I was doing, it's a miracle it still makes a good crunchy noise. The action is unbelievably low. I took it out of its box a few months ago, for the first time in half a lifetime, and was bored of it within half an hour. Once the world is a bit more open, I'll have a go at finding it a happy home, or at least someone who can get it vaguely as it should be and find it a happy home.
