6stringbassist Posted February 16, 2009 Posted February 16, 2009 (edited) This is in mint condition, I had some Nordstrands fitted to it for a more even and fuller sound. It's currently wired as a passive bass, I took the awful sounding stock preamp out of it, I was going to fit either a John East or a Nordstrand preamp in its place. It comes with a Fender gigbag. I've played 6 string basses for years, I bought two 4 string basses around Christmas time to satisfy the needs of a couple of gigs that I have. Turning up for a 70's style funk gig with a singlecut 6 string bass doesn't quite sit right with the other band members. Anyway, I'm really not getting into the 4 string thing, I miss the low notes way too much, and generally find the whole slim neck really uncomfortable to play, I have quite long fingers, and I'm just too used to playing a 6 string, so I'm going to go for something else instead. I'm asking £500 for this, personal collection is welcome. Trades welcome for a nice 6 string fretted or fretless bass or any 'interesting' fretless bass. Edited February 23, 2009 by 6stringbassist
